UBER EATS - THE DONUT PLACE

When you filter out the big-name strongholds that appear throughout the Uber Eats app, you’ll find that what truly holds the service together are mom-and-pop shops of all sorts. Got a hankerin’ for pad thai for lunch? Jonesin’ for a cupcake at midnight? Need catering in a pinch? More often than not, it’s those small businesses that have your back on all those fronts.

We created and produced a B2B piece championing a hometown hero, the Donut Place—a Dallas favorite opened in 2004 by Chang Lee after moving his family to the U.S. from South Korea—and how they utilize the Uber Eats Restaurant Management platform. This concept is not handcuffed by a product, but rather freed by real people and their stories; it’s centered around the authenticity and humanity that makes something like Uber Eats possible for both consumers and businesses.

I managed the concept development, wrote the script, and produced the film and photoshoot.
